Kumbh is a tradition maintained for over thousands of
years in India. Ardh Kumbh is celebrated after every six years at
Prayag, Allahabad. This venues is a confluence (sangam) of River Ganga,
the Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati which is believed to be a
subterranean stream. The biggest religious ceremony attracts a massive
crowd of people, who take a dip into the holy water of the Sangam to
wash their sins. Swamiji provide camp at Prayag, camp at Sangam, spiritual camp, welfare camp, social welfare camp, religious camps.
Parmarth Ashram acts under initiative of Swamiji to organize various
camps spiritual camp, welfare camp, social welfare camp for the 'kalp vasis' for their comfortable accommodation. Saints
are invited for samashti bhandara and yajnas, where other people can
also participate in the act. The saints and religious guides from
ashrama imparts religious knowledge from bhagwat geeta and Ram Katha.
Parmarth Ashram organizes these spiritual camp, welfare camp, social welfare camp, religious camp at every kumbh to serve the
pilgrims, who come here in the month of Magh for the sacred dip.
